OMES is seeking a full time  Mobile Device Manger – Security Provisioning Specialist for the Information Services Division. This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City. The objective of the Mobile Device Manager Security Technician position is to provide technical knowledge and to manage the enterprise MDM environment in support of our state assets.

The MDM Security Technician will be responsible for provisioning and supporting mobile solutions in a distributed environment. This role will be accountable for device administration, including removing and adding user accounts, managing service requests, configuring secure Workspace for iOS devices, and troubleshooting. This role will also create and follow Security and industry best practices, processes, and procedures, including documentation and testing standards before deployment.

Position Responsibilities
• Support and implement a standardized endpoint management solution across the enterprise and manage Windows devices.
• Administer Microsoft Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Deliver modernized plan that ensures endpoints are kept current on OS,
Driver, Patch, and Firmware.
• Work closely with the IT Security Team to ensure adherence to security requirements
• Automation of routine, repetitive tasks via scripting and remote deployment methods
• Auditing and reporting of hardware and software inventory.
• Research and resolve a wide variety of technical issues and participate/lead problem resolution efforts.
• Identifies opportunities to improve IT services and, in collaboration with the team, executes on those opportunities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Create and update technical documentation as it relates to endpoint management
• Create, document, and follow testing standards using industry best practices
• Follow standard change control processes
• Helps lead research and develop new technology, tools, and scripts to support desktop computing and the end-user desktop experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology related field or documented equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of information technology/security related experience or an equivalent combination of both 
• Extensive knowledge or prior experience with Microsoft SCCM, Endpoint Manager, InTune, AutoPilot, and Jamf
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft SCCM, Endpoint Manager, and InTune
• Understanding of Active Directory; including replication, GPO, and DNS
• Able to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot workstation images and task sequences within SCCM
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details

Preference will be given to candidates who possess
• Security experience is desirable or any security certification.
• Two to three years of experience in utilizing endpoint management tools and systems in an enterprise environment
• Additional experience with endpoint management tools such as JAMF is a plus
• Have the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
