Work for a facility that makes a difference in people’s lives! Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC) is currently recruiting for a Housekeeping/Custodial III to work as a part of our Housekeeping Department. 

The person selected for this position will lead and supervise others and also be assigned responsibilities involving advanced level custodial and housekeeping duties, such as leading or functionally supervising a crew of lower level employees.  In this role they will also perform inspections, order and distribute supplies and assist in training.

Job Type/Salary:
• Full-time position
• Annual Salary is $26,208.00-$31,463.00 (pay band D) plus shift differentials when working evenings, nights, and holidays.

BASIC PURPOSE

LEVEL DESCRIPTORS

The Housekeeping/Custodial Worker job family consists of four levels that are distinguished based on the duties assigned, the expertise required to perform assigned work, and the responsibility assigned for providing supervision to others. 

Level III :   
This is the lead worker level of this job family where employees are assigned responsibilities involving advanced level custodial and housekeeping duties, such as leading or functionally supervising a crew of lower level employees.  In this role they will also perform inspections, order and distribute supplies and assist in training. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Level III:                           
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of eighteen (18) months of experience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
