This position is located at Woodward Outpatient Services.
About the Position:
Northwest Center for Behavioral Health, Woodward Outpatient is accepting resumes for Triage Specialists/Behavioral Health Case Managers to provide direct clinical service to individuals with mental illness on an individual, group and family basis in the office and in community settings. The Triage Specialist will be teaching behavioral symptom-management techniques to alleviate and manage symptoms and to promote personal growth and development by assisting clients to adapt and cope with internal and external stresses. Provides assessments; intakes; bio-psycho-social assessments; addiction severity indexes; treatment planning; individual, group and family counseling, psycho-educational services, relapse prevention counseling; crisis intervention; case management; discharge planning; and referrals for substance-abusing persons, their families and significant others. Documents services and maintains necessary records.
Full-time - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
Triage Specialist - $33,500
(Triage Specialist Assistant $29,500)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
As a Triage Specialist/Certified Case Manager you must be able to demonstrate that you have completed curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in a behavioral health field or closely related behavioral science field and one (1) year of experience in professional case management behavioral health services or a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field and (2) years of professional experience in professional case management behavioral health services.
(Triage Specialist Assistant – Completion of the curriculum requirements for a baccalaureate degree in a behavioral health field.) - This position is TIME LIMITED for up to 15 months based on grant funding unless sustained by state appropriations.

Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
