Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults.  GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.

Job Type/Salary:
Full-time (8 hour shifts) 
$28,679.02 - $41,880.00 annually plus shift differentials when working weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:
This is the leadership level of this job family where employees are assigned responsibilities involving the supervision of workers involved in the operation of a housekeeping and/or custodial department in a state institution, building or state lodge.  In this role employees supervise two or more custodial crews, and they will assign work, review and evaluate performance and provide training.

BASIC PURPOSE

Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving the care and cleaning of a state institution, public building, or state lodge or in the supervision or management of employees performing these duties.

LEVEL DESCRIPTORS

The Housekeeping/Custodial Worker job family consists of four levels that are distinguished based on the duties assigned, the expertise required to perform assigned work, and the responsibility assigned for providing supervision to others. 
  
Level IV:                                  
This is the leadership level of this job family where employees are assigned responsibilities involving the supervision of workers involved in the operation of a housekeeping and/or custodial department in a state institution, building or state lodge.  In this role employees supervise two or more custodial crews, and they will assign work, review and evaluate performance and provide training.  Some positions may serve as an assistant to a Custodian/Housekeeping Superintendent. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Level IV:                                  
Education and Experiencerequirements at this level consist of two years of experience in building or institutional custodial work or in the hospitality industry.
