OMES is seeking a full time Security Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) Technician. This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City. The annual salary for this position is up to $65,000.00 based on education and experience.

The MEM Security Technician will support the MEM, MDM, Encryption and VDI/WVD platforms within the enterprise. This position involves working with the Security Engineers to deploy, configure and support endpoint technologies in an enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for the Windows Operating System image, application packaging with automated installation, desktop patch management, VDI/WVD and encryption of systems within the OMES environment. This role will also follow Security and industry best practices, processes and procedures, including documentation and testing standards before deployment.

Position Responsibilities
• Implement and support a standardized endpoint management solution across the enterprise and manage state assets
• Ensure endpoints are kept current on OS, Drivers, Patches and Firmware
• Work closely with the Security Engineers to ensure adherence to security requirements
• Packages and deploys software and security updates to endpoints
• Automation of routine, repetitive tasks via scripting and remote deployment methods
• Create, update and troubleshoot Windows OS images for deployment
• Monitors for and remediates deviations from configuration standards
• Auditing and reporting of hardware and software inventory
• Research and resolve a wide variety of technical issues and participate/lead problem resolution efforts
• Identifies opportunities to improve IT services and, in collaboration with the team, executes on those opportunities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Create and update technical documentation as it relates to endpoint management
• Create, document and follow testing standards using industry best practices
• Follow standard change control processes
• Helps lead research and develop new technology, tools and scripts to support desktop computing and the end-user desktop experience.


Minimum Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field or documented equivalent experience
• A minimum of three (3) years of information technology/security related experience or an equivalent combination of both 
• Extensive knowledge or prior experience with Microsoft SCCM, Endpoint Manager, inTune, AutoPilot and Jamf
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft SCCM, Endpoint Manager and inTune
• Knowledge of Active Directory, including replication, GPO and DNS
• Able to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Maintain, update and troubleshoot workstation images and task sequences within SCCM
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details

Preference will be given to candidates who possess
• Security experience is desirable or any security certification
• 1 - 3 years of experience in utilizing endpoint management tools and systems
• Additional experience with endpoint management tools, such as JAMF is a plus
• Ability to support projects for security role design, development, implementation and modifications
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
