Temp Public Relations Position - Oklahoma County
Perform various public relations and marketing tasks across several agencies including OTA, the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. They will produce and write a variety of pieces such as media and traffic advisories, press releases. talking points and topic summaries, including producing social media and website content. Independent research, event planning, developing timely responses to external and internal requests and assisting with publication production are also expected.
Strong writing, customer service and problem-solving skills are required along with high level of professionalism and organizational abilities. Other tasks could include assisting with media interview set-up and research and event planning.
Preference will be given to an applicant who possesses a strong creative and marketing skills to develop visually appealing presentations and other materials. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software for the PC and graphic/video production are a plus. Prior experience in media, public relations or communications areas is preferred.
Salary is a range of $13-18 per hour based on experience. The temporary position will work approximately 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be needed based on project demands.
