This position is located in Norman, Oklahoma.

Join our team of dedicated and experienced medical staff who specialize in providing outstanding psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents. This position provides direct psychiatric services for consumers. Assists in planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing professional service activities and programs assigned. Performs related work as required. Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) has an interdisciplinary team approach to providing services and programs assigned. Qualifications:
Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) preferred, but will consider Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with psych experience or a newly graduated FNP/PMHNP with RN psych experience will also be considered. Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing to include prescriptive authority. Or, a graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program, with state licensure and certification in this specialty and prescriptive authority from state, or graduate of a licensed program that meets the eligibility requirement of state and federal licensure regulations. Drug Enforcement Administration (DNA) is required.
