Vending Operations Manager, 0032

Location: VS33 BEP - OKC

Essential Functions:
Position supervises Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Vending Machine Technicians and temporary warehouse employees; maintains personnel records, insures Vending Technicians are in compliance with all necessary training and certifications according to state regulations and DRS policies. Schedules maintenance actions and prioritizing of work orders in collaboration with the Vending Facility Business Consultants and Business Manager; Maintains and manages BEP warehouse inventory including working with DRS receiving staff, meeting PeopleSoft requirements, state purchasing laws and DRS inventory requirements. As CPO, researches equipment/parts as needed or required; completes ordering; initiates submission of invoices along with supporting documentation and maintains BEP vehicles; submits other monthly reports as required. Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the repair of automated vending or merchandising equipment or repair of small appliances or with certification as CPO, Certified Food Safety Manager, Food Handler, Certified Dietary Manager, ServSafe Certification or School Nutrition Professionals as certified by the USDA. Applicants must be willing to perform all related travel.

Probationary period (or trial period if applicable) is required.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or three years of experience working as warehouse/inventory manager or supply chain management, one year of supervisory experience and work in a Randolph-Sheppard program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer applicants with knowledge about the Business Enterprise Program (BEP), blindness related issues and the Randolph-Sheppard Act. Ability is required to supervise and evaluate personnel and program performance; to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to interpret and apply policy material; to maintain effective working relationships with others; knowledge of PeopleSoft requirements, state purchasing laws and DRS inventory requirements; state vehicle management; repair of automated vending or merchandising equipment or repair of small appliances; must be able to obtain a Certified Purchasing Officer (CPO).  

Salary:
Salary shall be commensurate with education and experience with an annual salary range from $37,000.00 to $41,000.00.
