Mental Health Technician

Responsibilities:
Change lives and come join a highly skilled multi-discipline team of professionals providing care to high risk individuals in a state of the art facility located in the heart of the metro area. The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is looking for friendly, hard- working Consumer Recovery Specialist.

This position works as a part of the treatment team by developing and maintaining a supportive relationship with consumers in order to address strengths, goals and barriers to recovery. This includes performing duties such as providing direct care to consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient, outpatient or residential care setting, monitoring recovery progress toward treatment goals, de-escalation activities, participation in recovery, wellness and social skills groups, and developing and managing other group activities.

Qualifications:
*An associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting two years of relevant experience for the required degree.
*Valid Driver’s License
*Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety and believes that recovery is possible!

Job Type/Salary:
Full-time (8 hour shifts) Evening Shifts Available.

Salary $27,500+ plus shift differentials when working evenings, nights and weekends.

Company Overview:
In OCCIC’s new appealing location, this up to date facility is a 16 bed crisis unit with an attached 15 chair Urgent Care Center (URC) which acts as the assessment hub for many crisis beds across the state. The URC provides up to 24 hours of crisis intervention and related services for individuals needing behavioral health services.
