OMES is seeking a full time O365 Solutions Specialist. This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City. This role will be responsible for supporting integration projects with the Office 365 suite of products—including but not limited to Teams, Yammer, SharePoint, Delve, and OneDrive, PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI.
*Help drive the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Office 365 product in consultation with Oklahoma Department of Human *Services (OKDHS) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and in coordination with the broader OMES team.
*Contribute to the Digital Transformation of OKDHS by integrating O365 tools into day to day operations by building and teaching others to build workflows, forms, dashboards and apps.
*Serve as the product expert to OKDHS for Office 365 suite of applications and their capabilities and stay abreast of product previews and roadmaps.
*Collaborate with OMES to align on launch of new O365 features that improve organizational capabilities.
*Conduct user and business needs analysis to determine how Office 365 can help meet those needs.
*Be the subject matter expert for our clients with respect to Office 365.
*Monitor, measure and analyze Office 365 usage to help identify ways to drive adoption.
*Develop or contribute to development of Office 365 change management and adoption materials.
*Partner with the OKDHS Communications team to help create content that communicates Office 365 capabilities.
*Partner with the OMES IT Infrastructure team on implementation and configuration of Office 365 rollouts ensuring capabilities are aligned to business and user needs.
*Provide periodic communications to project sponsors, stakeholders and management.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Ability to occasionally lift paper and office supplies. Occasional travel may be required.
Valued Skills and Experience
*Experience serving as an Office 365 expert for Digital Workplace programs to help drive productivity, engagement and adoption.
*A passion for learning about, developing, and gathering new technologies and related tools to introduce to the company.
*Demonstrate accountability, collaboration and shared responsibility.
*Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations and effective meetings.
Requirements include one year of product experience in O365 including Power Automate, Forms, PowerBI and Power Apps. Demonstrated mastery of the core O365 applications and concepts.
