Primary Working Hours: VARIOUS
Primary Work Location: Northwest Center for Behavioral Health, ACU-TRU Fort Supply, OK
Salary Range: $14.18 Hourly/ $2,458.33 Monthly/ $29,500+ Annually
Major Work Duties:
Provides direct care to consumers. Works as part of a treatment team by monitoring recovery progress toward treatment goals, de-escalation activities, participation in recovery, wellness and social skills groups, and develops and manages other group activities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting four years of patient care experience for the Bachelor’s Degree. Preference may be given for participation in DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Assistant Specialist certificate program.
Additional Factors for Consideration:
Subject to .43/hr. afternoon and night shift differentials and .75/hr. weekend and Holiday pay (Independence Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas only.) Selected applicants will participate in DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Recovery specialist certificate Program. Requires the possession of a valid US driver’s license at the time of appointment to perform job related travel. Department of Mental health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing:
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs and also to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasional lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds”. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
