Major Work Duties:
Treatment philosophy to be trauma sensitive, co-occurring, person centered recovery oriented in nature. Provides peer support services; serves as an advocate; provides information and peer support for consumers in emergency, outpatient or inpatient settings. The RSS performs a wide range of tasks to assist consumers in regaining control of their lives and recovery processes. The RSS will possess the skills to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and interactions with all ODMHSAS stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated participation in advocacy and/or personal knowledge in recovery.
Additional Factors for Consideration:
Currently is, or has the ability to become a Credentialed Recovery Support Specialist. Criteria to become a Credentialed Recovery Support Specialist is available at http://ok.gov/odmhsas

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
