Join our team of dedicated staff at Northwest Center for Behavioral Health. We are currently accepting resumes for a Director, Inpatient Services. Work duties will include: Under direction of Executive Director, this position plans, organizes, directs, administers the inpatient services of Northwest Center for Behavioral Health to include nursing, clinical support, and the admissions office. Assumes responsibility for the effective utilization of inpatient resources to accomplish the stated goals and objectives of a comprehensive community mental health center.
This position represents the facility with other state and community agencies, and organizations regarding administrative matters affecting the facility. Directs the implementation of an ongoing staff training and development program to meet the needs of the center. Develops and assures compliance with policies and procedures, quality assurance guidelines, local state and federal laws and regulation, and accrediting bodies as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a Master’s Degree in psychology, sociology, and social work or closely related field, and five (5) years’ experience in care and treatment of person afflicted with mental illness or substance abuse; including three (3) of which in an administrative or supervisory capacity and possession of a valid LPC, LMFT, LADC, LSW or LCSW.
No substitution will be allowed for the Master’s Degree required years of experience in care and treatment, or administrative and supervisory experience.
Applicants, who show valid proof licensure eligibility and can obtain the Oklahoma License within the first 6 months of employment, may also be considered.
Additional Factors for Consideration:
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
