Location:  Oklahoma City, OK

The Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General for our Office of Civil Rights Enforcement.

Position Summary:
The Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office of Civil Rights Enforcement Unit is responsible for enforcing the Oklahoma Anti-Discrimination Act, which protects all Oklahomans against discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodation. The successful candidate will have proven skills to effectively and professionally manage and analyze complaints brought under the Oklahoma Anti-Discrimination Act and related enforcement proceedings as assigned. The successful candidate must also be able to effectively and professionally research and prepare reports advising the Attorney General of emerging legal developments; interact diplomatically and professionally with internal peers, outside counsel, business leaders, and the public; assisting with community outreach and public education; and maintain the integrity of the Attorney General’s Office.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma. Strong research and writing skills are required. Preference will be given to those with experience in civil rights or employment litigation, or fluency in Spanish. Some in-state travel required.
