Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults.  GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.

Job Type/Salary:
Full time / (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Triage Specialist II $40,482+/year  OR Triage Specialist - $33,500+/year
Under general direction provides integrated counseling for persons with alcohol/drug use/abuse and mental illness as well as other services while inpatient and social services in the discharge process at Griffin Memorial.  This position has ability to address multiple interlocking problems and the problems that cannot be separated into free-standing components.  Addresses both Mental Health and Substance Abuse problems concurrently. 

Completion of curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related behavioral health field and must be license-eligible or under supervision for licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field. Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety and believes that recovery is possible!
