Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults.  GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.

Job Type/Salary: Temporary (less than 1000 hours a year) / $11.50 hourly
Schedule: (6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. OR 10:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.)

Responsibilities:
The incumbent patrols hospital grounds to safeguard the welfare of property and ensures physical security of a 24-hour inpatient mental health facility. Other responsibilities include responding to disasters and other emergency conditions and codes.   Additionally, the Fire Prevention & Security Officer assists in directing patients, visitors and/or employees with questions or concerns.

Qualifications:
No experience is necessary. On-the-job training provided.
