This position is located in the Criminal Intelligence Unit (CIU) within the Investigative Services Division at OSBI Headquarters in OKC
MAJOR WORK DUTIES:
1.Manage the processing of MOU’s, user agreements, training delivery, and user set up for various OSBI programs.
2.Extensive internet and in-house computer research of numerous resources in support of analytical services and investigative case management.
3.Receive, process, and return Request for Information queries from OSBI and other local, state, federal, and tribal law enforcement partners. Extensive communication through, email, telephone, and in person.
4.Backup for OSBI/OIFC Communications Unit – answer phones lines, monitor security cameras and building access, process requests for assistance.
5.General clerical duties to include: data entry, scanning, copying, mail processing.
Persons appointed to this position must possess or obtain full certification through the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (OLETS) within six months from the date of appointment.
Successful applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screen, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation (commissioned positions only), and a thorough background investigation. This is the career level where duties and responsibilities will be performed at all levels of complexity. Employees may supervise others.
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of four years of technical clerical office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The State Bureau of Investigation has been authorized to utilize a Selective Qualification when interviewing applicants for this position.
Applicants must have one year of technical clerical office work in a law enforcement agency.
