This position will provide design services to the agency. The individual will design and produce digital and print publications, presentations and outreach materials imperative to agency operations. This position requires a creative individual to maintain OHCA’s branding standards and publications strategy.

*Coordinate with agency staff, partners and contractors on the design, development and production of all publications, logos and outreach materials pertinent to agency operations.
*Monitor and maintain adherence to the OHCA branding strategy and incorporate OHCA’s mission, vision and goals, as appropriate.
*Establish and oversee timelines for agency wide publication production schedules; solicit printing and distribution estimates; solve publication design and distribution problems and make final recommendations to the unit director.
*Provide direct design support to all areas of OHCA. Design, develop and produce digital and print materials for internal and external customers.
*Determine size and arrangement of material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space and aesthetic design concepts that align with the agency branding strategy.
*Review and edit content submitted to ensure clarity and accuracy, consistency with branding standards (logos, formats, colors and new initiatives) and compliance.
*Coordinate with appropriate OHCA staff to provide graphic, layout, design and other duties for agency publications, infographics and websites.
*Prepare and package digital files.
*Design and produce materials, documents and displays for OHCA meetings and events including: employee recognition events, conference posters, displays and other projects.
*Maintain and monitor all printing and distribution expenditures and invoices from communications department.
*Organize and maintain archived and current digital project files. Coordinate with agency publications manager to assure adherence to disposition schedule statutes.
*Develop, collect and provide statistical information on distribution, use, and outcomes of outreach materials and publications on behalf of OHCA. 
*Develop and maintain a production timeline detailing status of unit projects and expected completion dates.
*Coordinate with contractors and agency staff on translation of agency publications into Spanish.
*Advise unit director and agency leadership of effective and efficient tools necessary for achieving communication goals.
*Maintain technical knowledge and remain current on industry trends by attending design workshops and conferences, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional associations.
*Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or a closely related field; AND  Two years of professional graphic design experience with full Adobe Creative Suite; OR

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

*Digital photography experience or training.
*Knowledge of AP style.
*Spanish fluency.
*Experience developing social media for business purposes.
