The Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office is currently seeking a full-time Legal Assistant for our Civil Rights Enforcement Unit.

Position Summary:
This position assists all attorneys, investigators, and legal interns in the Civil Right Enforcement Unit.  The position will be responsible for the overall management of case management, organization, filing and other clerical activities.  The position assists all attorneys in preparing briefs, legal opinions, correspondence and all other related work, including file management and attorney scheduling. Duties may include: analyzing legal documents and correspondence; conducting small research assignments; proofreading and editing; and preparing pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence. All employees of the Office of Attorney General must maintain integrity and confidentiality of information as required.

Position may require physical lifting of boxes and files.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will need to have completed a Paralegal program. Preference may be given to candidates with related education and/or experience.
