Location: Oklahoma City, OK

The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board Program Manager for our Victim Services Unit. 

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief of the Victim Services Unit, the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board (DVFRB) Program Manager accomplishes administrative and other support functions related to programs and projects assigned to or assumed by the Oklahoma DVFRB, including supporting statistical research and analysis projects involving the collection, compilation and reporting of data.

Other duties include, but are not limited to
• Performing routine research and statistical analysis on criminal, social, and economic trends; applying basic methods of research and statistics.
• Planning, coordinating, receiving, reviewing, and compiling complex statistical data; compiling and editing data for accuracy and completeness.
• Conducting and assisting in conducting assessments of various populations, including performing needs assessments.
• Conducting and assisting in evaluations of criminal justice and related programs/projects.
• Preparing questionnaires and other forms for use in gathering and reporting data, applying statistical procedures and tabulations in analysis of data collected.
• Designing analytic and assessment tools which incorporate suitable statistical tests.
• Providing consultation to managers and administrators to aid in the development of appropriate assessment and evaluation mechanisms for programs and services.
• Preparing and arranging statistical tables and charts for compilation into manuals, handbooks and reports.
• Analyzing and interpreting data, using statistical research programs or other methods.
• Conducting studies and developing plans to determine availability and development of resources, facilities and services.
• Preparing for and facilitating monthly meetings of the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board.
• Maintaining communication with board members.
• Timely preparation and submission of all reports related to the VAWA grant and collection of statistical information mandated by the grant to validate compliance with established goals and objectives.
• Attending meetings related to violence against women.
• Other work as required and assigned.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience is required. May substitute four years of experience or a combination of education/experience in a comparable field. Experience and knowledge in the area of domestic violence is essential. Preferred experience includes statistical research methods or demographic or social research statistics. Excellent organization and communication skills are needed. Familiarity with federal grant program requirements is a must. Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, SAS or similar products, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access computer programs is strongly preferred. The ability to maintain a high level of security and confidentiality is crucial. Skills in evaluating and explaining statistical results and effective oral and written communication is essential. Familiarity with the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act is a plus. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required. Some travel will be required with the possibility of overnight stays.
