Major Work Duties:
Join our team of dedicated staff at Northwest Center for Behavioral Health. We are currently accepting resumes for a Director of Children’s Clinical Services. Under administrative direction of the Executive Director, this position has overall responsibility for setting the direction of treatment and coordinating the delivery of services in the children’s treatment program at Northwest Center for Behavioral Health.
Work duties of this position include: oversees and coordinates the delivery of services in the children’s treatment program to include intake screening, admission processing, treatment planning of cases; serves as liaison with the Placement Division of the Department of Human Services.
This position represents the facility with other state and community agencies, and organizations regarding administrative matters affecting the facility. Directs the implementation of an ongoing staff training and development program to meet the needs of the center. Develops and assures compliance with policies and procedures, quality assurance guidelines, local state and federal laws and regulation, and accrediting bodies as appropriate. Assesses and plans clinical program to assure quality and effectiveness of patient care; provides direct clinical services to children when indicated and provides other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a Master’s Degree in psychology, sociology, and/or social work or closely related field, and four (4) years’ experience in care and treatment of person afflicted with both mental illness and addiction issues or in a position with a dual emphasis. One (1) year of the required experience shall be in a supervisory capacity and possession of a valid LPC, LMFT, LADC, LSW or LCSW.
Note: No substitution will be allowed for the Master’s Degree required years of experience in care and treatment, or administrative and supervisory experience. Applicants, who show valid proof of licensure eligibility and can obtain the Oklahoma License within the first 6 months of employment, may also be considered.
