Starting Wage: $15.10 per hour

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or  8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

University or college students must be junior level or above.  Current State employees are ineligible.

Under general supervision of the Banking and Treasury Services Manager, this position will be responsible for receipting and recording high volume lockbox deposits for state agencies.
Required include being capable of maintaining routine accounting data in appropriate ledgers, journals, spreadsheets and databases; general knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making decisions; as well as the ability to effectively multi-task.  Must possess knowledge of computer technology related to accounting systems.

• Pulling lockbox reports from JP Morgan Access
• Entering lockbox current balances into Excel spreadsheet (to generate depository sheets)
• Keying PeopleSoft TREAS/CORE lockbox deposit entries, including special deposits for additional agencies (data entry)
• Tallying and contacting operators with final deposit batch counts
• Verifying deposit run report
• Other duties as assigned

Training will be provided.
In accordance with O.S. 68 § 238.2, State employees are required to comply Oklahoma Tax Laws.
