Director Account Maintenance

Job Description:
The Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) is a government agency administering and enforcing state tax laws. We are currently seeking to fill the Director position for the Account Maintenance Division (AMD).  This position will effectively manage and provide guidance to division employees in regards to the review, processing and auditing of business and income tax returns as mandated by the State of Oklahoma.

AMD Director Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the AMD to meet goals and projections as administered by the agency
• Working knowledge of Oklahoma Statutes and OTC Rules
• Represent the agency at local, regional and national meetings/conferences
• Strong analytical skills to monitor and review workflow; ensure timelines are being met while following tax laws/statutes of State of Oklahoma
• Develop processes that will enhance the taxpayer experience as well as streamline employee workload while maintaining compliance with filing requirements
• Ability to interact in a positive with all levels of employees from frontline to upper management

• Bachelor’s required, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting or Management
• 10+ years state and/or government experience, including supervisory/managerial experience;
• Sound project management skills

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 commensurate with education and experience.
