Director of Provider Certification

This position plans, organizes, and directs the Provider Certification Division for the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), as well as oversees the DUI - Alcohol and Drug Substance Abuse Courses (ADSAC) program. ODMHSAS Provider Certification manages the statutory certification processes stipulated by 43A O.S.

This position will provide oversight to the certification and auditing process by which facilities in Oklahoma are granted and maintain license to provide behavioral health services and related supports.

This position will submit reports and recommendations to the ODMHSAS Board in consultation with ODMHSAS leadership related to programmatic certification, and in accordance with Oklahoma Administrative Code. 

Furthermore, this position will consult with administrative and clinical personnel in treatment programs throughout Oklahoma regarding AMHSAS, OHCA, JCAHO and CARF expectations. 

Master’s degree or other advanced graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field, public health, administration, business, legal or public administration and five years’ professional experience in a behavioral health field, two of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
