OMES is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician II. This is an unclassified position in state government, located in Oklahoma City.  OMES offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.  For more information about the benefit allowance [click here].The annual salary for this position is up to $35,375.00, based on education and experience.

Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide maintenance support for various buildings managed by OMES Office of Facilities Management (OFM). Support may include scheduled preventative maintenance, on-site customer service, various inspections, and general work requests.

Position Responsibilities
• Assist with maintenance of multiple state buildings managed by OMES DCAM Office of Facilities Management.
• Perform complex maintenance and repair activities with minimal supervision.
• Complete assigned PM inspection schedules for all buildings assigned.
• Address work requests as assigned.
• Set up events within OFM managed facilities to ensure occupant safety.

Other Duties
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.

Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED AND Two (2) years of experience in construction, maintenance or skilled building trade.
