OSDH is seeking a full time Meaningful Use Message Tech providing support to the Informatics. This is an unclassified position (PIN#34003477) in state government, located in Oklahoma City, OK.  OSDH offers a comprehensive Benefits Package, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependentsFor more information about the benefit allowance [click here]. The annual salary for this position is up to $45,000.00 based on education and experience.

Position Description:  
The purpose of this position is to provide Informatics support to the OSDH Meaningful Use program through the analysis of complex Meaningful Use messages of immunization, reportable laboratory, and specialized registry data.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing and interpreting errors in messages and retrieving data content to quality assure submissions
• Consulting with providers, hospitals, and vendors regarding message submissions and their public health requirements, ensuring they understand the necessary requirements
• Recording and tracking all communications so they can easily be retrieved by OSDH staff

Education and Experience
Associate’s degree and 3 years working experience in Public Health or Healthcare Administration.

This position has a Preferred Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Science, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related field.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position is set in an office environment.  While performing the duties of the job, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, lift, and reach.
