OSDH is seeking a full time Registered Nurse III providing support to Beaver County Health Department. This is an unclassified position, 34002978, in state government, located in Beaver, Oklahoma. OSDH offers a comprehensive

Position Description:
Under general supervision will provide professional nursing services to patients as in clinic setting.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Monitor & Assess the health of individuals, families & population.
• Define a plan of care & provide nurse case management & health education in the areas of Family Planning; Women, Infant & Children; Immunizations, Adult Health; General Child Health, STD's and Communicable Disease in Beaver County

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience
Requirements consist of possession of a valid Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or, Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and one year of professional nursing experience, OR, a Bachelor's in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or, Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requirements require professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques; of health promotion and disease prevention; of nursing management of available health care resources; of nutrition and diet therapy and the functions of various clinical departments. Ability required to assist in development, organization, and implementation of an effective nursing care plan; to provide education and to assess condition and needs of clients, families and communities appropriate to the care setting; to take appropriate intervention; to counsel and teach patients and families.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Combination of office and exam offices. May be exposed to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, and medicinal preparations. Varied activities including sitting, walking, stooping, lifting, bending, pushing, and reaching.
