Location: Oklahoma School for the Blind - Muskogee

Essential Functions: 
Position is responsible for supervising LPN’s and the secretary of the campus medical clinic. Duties include direct care for blind or visually impaired students and the administering of medications as needed, writing care plans for all students that are taking medications or requiring treatment. Maintaining and updating the policy and procedure manual for medical services; ensuring all immunizations are current prior to enrollment and completing monthly reports, memos, staff evaluations and the ordering of medications and supplies. Schedule transportation for students to physician and/or specialist’s appointments. Flexible working hours a must.

Preference may be given to applicants with four years of nursing experience as an RN, including two years of supervisory experience.

Applicant must be willing to perform all job related travel.

Probationary period (or trial period if applicable) is required.

Education and Experience Requirements: 
Must have valid Oklahoma license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing. Prefer four (4) years of nursing experience as an RN, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
