Assistant Human Resources Coordinator

Position is located at State Office in Oklahoma City.

The Assistant Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for advanced clerical  (monthly reports required for OJA Board Meetings to include many other reports that are requested from Leadership frequently) and technical Human Resources functions including, but not limited to the Disciplinary Process, Oklahoma Tax Commission Program, Worker's Compensation Filing System, HR Reports and Correspondence from Assistant Deputy Director and CFO.

Responsible for working closely with Assistant Deputy Director to ensure our mission, vision and goals are met in the most efficient, innovative manner possible.  Achieving that goal takes a team-oriented, solutions-driven professional. Provide additional assistance to members of the HR department as needed.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree and three years of professional-level human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference may be given to applicants with: 
Advanced computer skills
PeopleSoft knowledge
Professional experience in state government human resources
Works accurately (attention to details) on assigned tasks
Establish and maintains effective working relationships
Provides excellent customer service
Handles confidential matters with tact and discretion
Exercises good judgement in analyzing situations and making good decisions
Interpret and handle routine matters in accordance with agency policy
Follow oral and written instructions

This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the work day. 

Occasional travel may be required

May occasionally lift 20lbs or more and be able to sit or perform duties on a computer for 6-8 hours
