Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) is currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist with inventory management, prescription filling, and record keeping.
• Assisting pharmacists in filling prescriptions
• Maintaining an inventory of drugs and medicines
• Provide training and assistance to pharmacy clerks
• Following pharmacist's instructions precisely
• Complete necessary records on drug supply and issuance
• Other related duties as assigned

Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities for assisting in filling prescriptions and dispensing drugs in a state institution or hospital; may compound drugs under close supervision.
The Pharmacy Technician job family consists of two levels which are distinguished based on the complexity of the assigned duties and the expertise required to complete assigned tasks.
This is the career level of this job family where employees are assigned responsibilities for assisting registered pharmacists in filling prescriptions, maintaining an inventory of drugs and medicines and other related technical duties. Limited responsibilities may be assigned for providing training and assistance to pharmacy clerks.
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years of experience as a pharmacy clerk and possession of a pharmacy technician permit issued by the Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy and/or other recognized pharmacy technician certification board as required by the hiring entity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting the completion of thirty semester hours of college course work for each year of the required experience.
