Administrative Technician (3807)
Temporary Position working no more than 29 hours per week

Under the direction of the Business Manager, the position is responsible for document production and management through a variety of manual or technological processes according to stated policies, procedures and regulations.  This may include preparing correspondence, reports or other documents, maintaining various filing systems, manual and digital including computer records. Position may assist in maintaining required accounting of all revenue received by division.  They may assist Business Manager with purchasing and payable transactions within the Travel Promotion Division.

Examples of Work Performed:
Duties may include but not limited to:
• Performs data entry tasks.
• Reviews and processes invoices for payments.
• Researching vendor payments.
• Maintains various ledgers.
• Files hard copy A-P documents.
• Process bank deposits.
• Gather data for Business Manager to prepare bid specifications for RFP’s and ITB’s with input by other staff with the division.
• Other duties assigned by the Business Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
*Skilled in operating common office equipment.
*Telephone and customer service etiquette.
*Adaptable and dependable.

Education and Experience:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years of clerical office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
