Location: VS #33 – Business Enterprise Program-OKC

Essential Functions: 
Directly oversees staff and operations of the Oklahoma Business Enterprise Program which is the Randolph-Sheppard Act Licensed Manager program; coordinates contracts with Licensed Managers in compliance with Federal/State/Program laws and policy; manages financial reporting of the Licensed Manager insurance funds and set-aside; provides supervision and personnel management of BEP staff and provides daily leadership of the BEP program through compliance with state/federal/program policy; oversees the management of the vending machine maintenance program; manages purchase of all BEP equipment and program inventory; develops, monitors and oversees BEP budgets, purchases, contracts and expenditures in compliance with agency, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines; develops and maintains working relationships with all relevant personnel at the state and federal level, as well as the Elected Committee of Licensed Managers and all BEP associated building grantors and hosts.

Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the Randolph-Sheppard Program of blindness related issues.

Must be willing to perform all job related travel.

Background Check: 
The Department of Rehabilitation Services will conduct a criminal background check on new hires as part of an offer of employment that is made contingent upon a successful criminal background check.

Preferred Education and Experience
Business degree, small business ownership or management with a proven track record in business operation and/or ownership or a proven track record in operating a Randolph-Shepard program.

Salary commensurate with education and experience with a monthly salary range from $5,729 to $6,562.50 per month or $68,750.00 - $78,750.00 Annual.

Employee Retirement Benefit

A Defined Contribution Plan administered by OPERS

Pathfinder is the mandatory defined contribution plan for eligible state employees who first become employed by a participating employer on or after November 1, 2015, and have no prior participation in OPERS.

Under this plan, members will choose a contribution rate which will be matched by their employer up to 7%, and members have the freedom to select and change their investments.

A defined contribution plan like Pathfinder does not provide a guaranteed, lifetime source of income. The amount a participant has at retirement under a defined contribution plan is dependent upon how much was contributed over his/her career, how well those investments performed, and how quickly distributions are taken in retirement.

Pathfinder is a defined contribution retirement savings program composed of a 401(a) plan for mandatory contributions and a 457(b) plan for additional voluntary contributions. Your mandatory 401(a) plan contribution is 4.5% of your annual salary, and your employer helps put you on a positive path to retirement by contributing an additional 6%. In addition, you can receive another 1% employer matching contribution when you make a voluntary contribution of 2.5% to the 457(b) plan.

Employee Longevity Benefit
To be eligible for longevity, you must have two (2) years of continuous service.

At least 4 years but less than 6 years $426.00
At least 6 years but less than 8 years $626.00
At least 8 years but less than 10 years $850.00
At least 10 years but less than 12 years $1,062.00

At least 14 years but less than 16 years $1,500.00

At least 20 years $2,000.00

For each additional two years of service after the first 20 years, an additional $200.00 shall be added to the amount stated above for 20 years of service.
