Position location:VR #09 – Employment Support Services (ESS), OLBPH - OKC Essential Functions: Background Check:
This position is responsible for development, negotiation, and implementation of employment contracts, including those mandated under the 2014 WIOA legislation requiring Customized Employment Services, WIOA Intensive Supported Employment Program and Extended Services for transition youth contracts. This position will be responsible for audits according to federal and state regulations and DRS policy; monitors contract compliance for assigned contractors and initiates appropriate action related to fiscal responsibilities and ethical standards up to and including, corrective action to contract termination. Submits any unethical and fraudulent findings to DRS legal and Director. Provides coaching and mentoring to employment contractors to adhere to ethical standards and best practices. Develops and implements specialized training for Academy, new DRS employment contractors, DRS staff, and employment consultants. Provides specialized consultation and support to DRS field staff and employment contractors related to clarification and resolution of billing and payments, case analysis and problem solving. Will be assigned to collaborate with community partners and agencies including: Developmental Disability Services of the Department of Human Services (DDS), Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMASAS), Oklahoma Department of Corrections (DOC), Oklahoma Department of Education (DOE), and the Oklahoma Healthcare Authority.

The Department of Rehabilitation Services will conduct a criminal background check on new hires as part of an offer of employment that is made contingent upon a successful criminal background check.
Prefer applicants who currently meet CSPD requirements or are eligible to sit for certification such as the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) examination.
Application must include transcript which shows Master’s Degree has been awarded and any current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE) certification or documentation of eligibility to sit for above certifications.

This job family consists of only one level and incumbent employees are responsible for performing all functions related to the position to which assigned.
Education and Experience required at this level consists of a master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
