Location:  Oklahoma City, OK

Salary Range:  Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Legal Assistant for our Criminal Appeals Division.

Position Summary:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: providing legal assistance to multiple attorneys with the preparation of pleadings, briefs, exhibits, correspondence, and court filings.     

Qualifications:
• In addition to ECF experience, knowledge of state and federal filing procedures and rules are required; 10th Circuit and United States Supreme Court filing procedures and rules are a plus.
• Incumbent must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; excellent spelling and grammar skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, and Outlook. 
• Must have the ability to prepare a variety of complex pleadings and correspondence, including Table of Authorities and Indexing, as well as the ability to prioritize workflow and address new priorities as they arise. Experience with Westlaw and Drafting Assistant are a plus.
