Position based out of Fort Supply, Oklahoma

Primary working hours: Various
Primary working location: Fort Supply
Annual Base Pay is $28,000.00, $13.46 per hour + differential pay of .43 for evenings, night shifts, .75 for weekends and .75 for Christmas, Thanksgiving and 4th of July holiday./

Major Work Duties:
Provides direct care to consumers. Works as part of a treatment team by monitoring recovery progress toward treatment goals, de-escalation activities, participation in recovery, wellness and social skills groups, and develops and manages other group activities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree OR  an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting four years of patient care experience for the Bachelor’s Degree. Preference may be given for participation in DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Assistant Specialist certificate program.

Additional Factors for Consideration:
Subject to .43/hr. afternoon and night shift differentials and .75/hr. weekend and Holiday pay (Independence Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas only.) Selected applicants will participate in DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Recovery specialist certificate Program. Requires the possession of a valid US driver’s license at the time of appointment to perform job related travel.

Probationary period (or trial period, if applicable) required for classified positions.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: 
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs and also to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasional lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds”.  Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.

DMHSAS facilities must notify the above listed HR department by the opening date and time listed above if they have employees with a first preference request to return to work on a limited duty release.
