This position is located at Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health in Tulsa, OK.
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. ODMHSAS strives to provide persistent, incremental improvements in the quality and effectiveness of treatment which results in a better recovery for more Oklahomans. Our state-operated facilities are commissioned to provide services that promote consumer empowerment, wellness, recovery, and integration in the community.
Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. TCBH is a 24 hour facility, which serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.
•The Advanced Practitioner Nurse assists individuals and their families to manage complex psychiatric, substance abuse and medical problems and provide guidance on the course of illness and available resources.
•Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing to include prescriptive authority. Or, a graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program, with state licensure and certification in this specialty and prescriptive authority from state, or graduate of a licensed program that meets the eligibility requirement of state and federal licensure regulations. Drug Enforcement Administration (DNA) is required.
Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) preferred, but will consider Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with psych experience or a newly graduated FNP/PMHNP with RN psych experience will also be considered.
Full-time (8 hour shifts) evening and nights.
Salary: $92,031+ differentials when working evening, nights and holidays.
