The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. ODMHSAS strives to provide persistent, incremental improvements in the quality and effectiveness of treatment which results in a better recovery for more Oklahomans. Our state-operated facilities are commissioned to provide services that promote consumer empowerment, wellness, recovery, and integration in the community.
Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. TCBH serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.
Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health is currently recruiting for a behavioral health admissions counselor. Under general direction the behavioral health admissions counselor will:
•Provide professional telephone and on-site emergency/crisis intervention and therapy services.
•Conduct assessments for admissions and provides support for the consumer during the admissions process.
•Primary shift for this vacancy is evening and weekend shift.
•Master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related field.
•Must possess a license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field.
Annual Salary is $44,000+
•Triage Specialist II requires:
A master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related behavioral health field and must be license-eligible or under supervision for licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or similar license in the behavioral health field.
•Must have case management certification or be able to acquire it within 90 days of hire.
Annual Salary is $36,791.00+.
•Licensure supervision possible depending on position and licensure.
