Job Description, essential functions:
Provides support for Child Welfare Deputy Director. Maintains confidential personnel information/transactions for the Regional Office. Arranges meetings and takes minutes for Regional Meetings. Coordinates training, calendars, etc. for Regional Staff. Provides support to county CWS personnel. Maintains payroll, personnel files, IR/Due Date letters and other information pertinent to the Region and County offices.

Job description, marginal functions:
Approves foster care clothing overrides, contingency overrides, and monitors balances for contingency and clothing funds.

Preference Statement:
5 years of clerical office work and experience as a confidential secretary to an office manager or executive.

BASIC PURPOSE

Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities for performing confidential secretarial duties for an agency official or administrator.

LEVEL DESCRIPTORS

Level V:
At this level employees perform confidential secretarial work for an assistant or associate director of an agency; and may direct the work of other technical/clerical employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Level V:  
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of six years of clerical office work, including three years as an office manager, executive assistant or as a confidential secretary, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
