The Carl Albert Community Mental Health Center in McAlester, OK is currently hiring Certified Case Managers for the Children’s Department to provide direct clinical services to individuals with mental illness on an individual, group, and family basis in the office and in community settings. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
As a Triage Specialist/Certified Case Manager you must be able to demonstrate that you have completed curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in a behavioral health field or closely related behavioral science field and one (1) year of experience in professional case management behavioral health services or a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field and (2) years of professional experience in professional case management behavioral health services. 

Triage Specialist Assistant – Completion of the curriculum requirements for a baccalaureate degree in a behavioral health Field.

Major Work Duties:
Provide clinical services to children on an individual, group, and family basis in the office and in community setting; provide direct care services, supportive counseling, case management referring, linking and advocating for other services to enable clients to function in the community and avoid hospitalization.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and use of electronic medical records preferred.

Additional Factors for Consideration:
Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

Primary Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Triage Specialist - $28,641 - $38,738/year
Triage Specialist Assistant
- $25,771.00 - $32,600.00/year
