The Carl Albert Community Mental Health Center in McAlester, OK is currently hiring Certified Case Managers / Triage Specialists (Triage Specialist Assistants) to provide direct clinical services to individuals with mental illness on an individual, group, and family basis in the office and in community settings.

Major Work Duties:

The primary responsibility of this position is making initial contact and working toward discharge planning with the inpatient consumers.   This position is required to conduct two to three groups per week and meet with each individual consumer on the unit at least twice a week.  This position completes transfers from the Inpatient Unit to Outpatient Services as needed and works with the clinical Inpatient team for a cohesive treatment experience for the consumers.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Triage Specialist/Certified Case Manager: you must be able to demonstrate that you have completed curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in a behavioral health field or closely related behavioral science field and one (1) year of experience in professional case management behavioral health services or a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field and (2) years of professional experience in professional case management behavioral health services.   

Triage Specialist Assistant – Completion of the curriculum requirements for a baccalaureate degree in a behavioral health Field.

Primary Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Triage Specialist - $28,641 - $38,738
Triage Specialist Assistant - $25,771.00 - $32,600.00

Additional Factors for Consideration:
Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
