Salary Information

Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and MCCP Board Rules & Regulations**

Nature of Work

This is an advanced-level executive support position performing a full range of administrative procedures.  Position provide direct support to the Airport Executive Director, Deputy Director, Commercial Development Manager and the Marketing and Communications Manager performing a variety of work responsibilities including budget preparation  and control, office management, payroll, contract management, purchasing, personnel actions, generating and maintaining reports and record keeping.  This position supports high level officials requiring extensive protocols involving administrative work handling aviation management projects assigned by the Director and/or Deputy Director. Work requires full knowledge of office administration and supervisory skill.  This position reports to the Airport Executive Director and interacts extensively with the airport authority senior staff and MGM Board of Directors.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and at least three (3) years of advanced administrative or business management experience to include experience in customer and public relations (news and social media).

NOTE:  Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered. 

PREFERENCES: A bachelor's degree in aviation management, business management and/or a technical certification in office administration or a closely related area are preferred.

Special Requirements

Must submit to a 10-year employment and criminal background check to satisfy Federal Aviation Administration requirements.

Kind of Examination
