Production Controller (Traffic Engineering)

The fundamental reason this position exists is to manage the clerical operations of the Maintenance or Traffic Engineering Department. The Production Controller may supervise approximately three to six employees who are predominantly involved in processing the office related functions of the department such as material acquisitions. The Production Controller maintains the project expenditure database for all Maintenance or Traffic Engineering Department projects; maintains the project expenditure database for various Maintenance or Traffic Engineering Department projects and performs various administrative duties. The Production Controller receives supervision from the Maintenance Department Director or the Director of Traffic Engineering and/or Department Administrative Officer.

Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a closely-related field and four years of office administration experience to include bookkeeping duties with at least two years in a senior administrative capacity. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
