Nature of Work

A student intern will receive experience in the area of job analysis, test development or test administration. Interns will be supervised by a Personnel Analyst or the Assistant Personnel Director.

Minimum Qualifications

Senior undergraduate, or graduate student in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or Management with concentration in Human Resources, or closely related field.  Preference may be given to candidates with previous courses in Employee Selection or Psychological Testing. Must have excellent writing, organizational and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently.  Typing skill desirable.  Must have 2.5 GPA (on a 4-point scale).   Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

  

Special Requirements

Ten to twenty hours per week for a minimum of ten weeks (one academic quarter). May be paid or unpaid, depending on the availability of funds.
