Nature of Work

The fundamental reason this classification exists is to manage the functions of the box office through the selling and marketing of events managed by the Riverfront Division.  The essential functions of this position are: manages admission ticket sales for cruises and events; oversees the event financial reporting; and performs administrative duties.  The Box Office Manager reports directly to the Riverfront Superintendent.  Supervision may be exercised over temporary event personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma including or supplemented by coursework in bookkeeping/accounting and two years of experience in box office management operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

NOTE:    Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
