The fundamental reason this classification exists is to assist in managing the daily operations of a tennis facility and to provide quality tennis services to the public. The essential functions of the class are: maintains administrative and financial records; provides instructions and information to patrons and employees; maintains adequate inventory of equipment and supplies; and assists in planning and administering tennis tournaments. The employee reports directly to the Tennis Supervisor or Tennis Manager.
Graduation from a two- year college or university with a degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Accounting, or a related degree and one year office management experience, preferably, in a tennis facility or similar recreational setting to include customer service experience, as well as, some personal computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
Must be willing to work irregular hours or until the project is complete as needed to schedule and set up for tennis tournaments.
