Nature of Work

This is specialized work in organizing and supervising programs of play and recreational activities at community centers, and special events for children and adults at parks and playgrounds. This position is skilled and requires qualifications and certification. This employee works under limited supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or GED and at least six months’ of recreational facilitation experience and must be certified in specialized area(s).

NOTE:  Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
