Land Use Control Administrator (#CI3420)

Nature of Work

The fundamental reason this class exists is to direct and administer the City's land use control element and to serve as executive secretary to the Planning Commission, the Board of Adjustment, Architectural Review Board and the Historical Development Commission.  

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a  Degree in Planning, Urban Planning, Public Administration, Geography or a related field plus five years of municipal planning and land use development experience including two years of supervisory experience.  Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.


Special Requirements

Must be willing to attend numerous public evening meetings that occur weekly.
