The fundamental reason this position exists is to direct the implementation and maintenance of the Montgomery Regional Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) through a complex network of people, agencies, and communities.
Essential functions are: manages the Montgomery Metropolitan Medical Response System; and coordinates MMRS activities with participating agencies. The employee reports directly to the Emergency Management Director.
Must have graduated high school or have GED. Must have at least five (5) years' responsible administrative experience in emergency preparedness to include strategic planning and instruction OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
