Nature of Work

The fundamental reason this position exists is to provide service in the management and operation of all mobile devices and their respective systems. The work responsibilities include the administration, configuration, and security of all mobile devices within the organization, including mobile phones, iPads, and tablets. This role involves maintaining inventory, ordering and purchasing mobile equipment, troubleshooting and replacing lost or damaged devices, and ensuring compliance with security policies and organizational standards. The IT Specialist collaborates with vendors, department heads, and internal teams to assess needs, implement updates, and support mobile device users. Additionally, the role includes processing vendor invoices, allocating departmental billing codes, and recommending improvements for mobile device strategies. The classification reports to an IT Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in IT support, Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration, or a related role. Proficiency with MDM solutions, mobile operating systems (iOS, Android), and mobile device security is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
