classification exists is to direct the financial management of a department.Major work responsibilities include managing accounts
receivable and payable for the department, preparing financial and/or
accounting reports, managing accounting records and data, establishing
financial controls, assisting with a variety of financial management functions,
and supervising two or more employees.The
incumbent works under the supervision of the Chief Clerk or a department head.
degree in accounting and four years of professional accounting or auditing
experience at a senior level.
